Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Gebze, with flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will lead and execute software testing processes for fintech applications developed in-house. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, managing test automation and manual testing, tracking and reporting defects. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure the highest level of software quality.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement test strategies and plans for web and mobile applications
  • Design, create, and execute complex test cases and test scenarios
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality and performance
  • Conduct API testing using Postman
  • Identify, track, and report bugs and defects using JIRA, Bugzilla or similar tools
  • Lead end-to-end testing efforts to ensure software meets business and security requirements
  • Build automation for web and mobile test scenarios
  • Collaborate with developers and project teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing for web and mobile applications
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools
  • Proven experience in bug tracking and defect management (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong understanding of databases, ability to execute SQL queries for testing
  • Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium)
  • Experience in writing and maintaining test automation scripts for web and mobile applications
